Google' Page Creator is a great tool for teachers to use to create elegant, useful websites for free. The procedure is relatively simple. Using this tool makes it easy for teachers to maintain their own pages that can be linked back to their school's Main Home Page.
It is necessary for a teacher to obtain a free gmail account from Google (which must be done from home-this part cannot be done from a school site), but once this step is done, creating and maintaining pages can be done anywhere, including at school.
While using a Mac, it is necessary to use Firefox as your web browser, as all the features are not available while using Safari.
